All times in the Platform refer to Eastern Time (“ET”). Platform is subject all applicable federal, state and local laws.
ELIGIBILITY: Open only to permanent, legal United States residents who are physically residing in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States, (excluding Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands and other U.S. territories), and who are eighteen (18) years of age or older and the age of majority in their state of residence as of the Entry Period Start Time for the Contest. Contest Entities, as referenced herein, shall include Strikeforce Bowling LLC (“KR Strikeforce” or “Sponsor”), the Professional Bowlers Association (“PBA”), and it’s players, Bowlero Corp., and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and advertising agents and promotional partners, and any other entity involved in the awarding of prizes (as defined below) or the development, administration, promotion, or implementation of the Platform or the Contest.
You are also not eligible to enter or win the Contest if: (a) by virtue of your affiliation or employment with another company operating in the fantasy sports or sports gaming industry, you have or have had access to that company’s pre-release, non-public, or confidential data or other information that is not available to all other entrants of the Contest that may provide you an advantage in any such Contest in the Platform; (b) you are an official, referee, coach or professional athlete, or agent of any official, referee, coach or professional athlete, whose performance may be used to determine the outcome of the Contest; or (c) you are a commissioner, owner or employee of a professional sports league/association or its member teams, including team management, team support personnel, and other individuals.
TO ENTER: To enter the Contest, during the applicable Contest Entry Period, visit Sponsor’s PBA Pick ‘Em website (PBAPickem.com) on your desktop or your mobile device, and follow the instructions to become a registered user on the Platform. Entrants must agree to the Platform’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy to become a registered user and to enter the Contest. Limit one (1) user registration per person.
Once you have become a registered user on the Platform, visit the Platform “Lobby,” and follow the provided instructions to complete and submit the Contest entry form (the “Entry”) during the Entry Period. The Contest will be conducted among and between all eligible Entries received during the corresponding Entry Period. Entries must be received by the end of an Entry Period to be eligible for the Contest. All Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
You may submit only one (1) Entry for the Contest. Multiple Entries received from any person beyond this limit will void all such additional Entries. Sponsor’s computer shall be the official timekeeper for all matters related to the Contest. Entries that are incomplete, garbled, corrupted, suspect, fraudulent, misdirected, undelivered, not received, delayed, lost, stolen or unintelligible for any reason, including, but not limited to, congestion or computer, network, human, mechanical, or other malfunction, are void and will not be accepted. “Receipt” of an Entry only occurs when Sponsor’s servers record an entrant’s registration information and Entry during the corresponding Entry Period. Screen shots, printouts or any other purported “proof” or “evidence” of Entry submission or winning whatsoever, in lieu of Sponsor’s validation process, shall not be binding under any circumstances. Proof of submission (such as an automated receipt, screen shots, electronic mail, etc.) shall not constitute proof of actual receipt of Entry for purposes of these Official Rules. In case of a dispute over the identity of an entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant and such individual must comply with these Official Rules. “Authorized account holder” of an email address is defined as the person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
Data rates may apply to an Entry submitted via your web-enabled mobile device. See your wireless service provider for details on rates and capabilities.
PRIVACY: Information collected in connection with participation in the Platform will be collected and used in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at KRStrikeforce.com/privacy. Entrants will have the opportunity to receive information from Sponsor and PBA by checking the appropriate box(es). Information shared with the Sponsor and PBA includes entrant name, email, physical address, and telephone number. If, at any time, you no longer wish to receive materials from Sponsor or PBA, follow the unsubscribe directions in the applicable email. For more information about how Sponsor manages your personal information, see Sponsor’s privacy statement at https://www.pbapickem.com/pages/privacy-policy.html and for more information about how the PBA manages your personal information, visit https://www.pba.com/privacy-policy.
SCORING AND WINNER NOTIFICATION: Entrants will submit Entries relating to certain Game(s), as instructed, and provided on the Platform and in these Rules. Entries will be scored based upon the number of correct answers in the Entries and correct answers to tie-breaker questions, if applicable. Each correct answer will earn the Entrant one (1) point. Throughout the Contest, a leaderboard will be updated to show the standings of all Contest Entrants. Upon the conclusion of the Contest, Entrants will be able to view their finishing position on the Contest leaderboard.
In the event of a roll-off being used to determine a winner in a match, the results of the roll-off will only be used to calculate any applicable questions relating to the margin of victory in the match. The number of strikes, splits, and/or missed spares thrown during the roll-off will not count towards the calculation of any question relating to the number of strikes, splits, or missed spares thrown in that match.
Winners (each a “Winner”; collectively, “Winners”) will be determined based on the scoring results of such Contest as set forth below, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. There will be 0 or more jackpot winners, five (5) first tier finishers and five (5) second tier finishers. The number of Winners for the JackPot Prize (as defined below) will vary depending upon how many entrants correctly answer all questions in their Entries. If no entrant answers all questions correctly, the JackPot Prize will not be awarded. In the event of multiple winners for the JackPot prize, the JackPot prize will be split amongst the winners. The five (5) first tier finishers will be selected based on the number of questions answered correctly in the Entries, and in the event of a tie, the answer to the final question will be used as a tiebreaker. The final question (predict the winning score in the championship match) refers to the winning score of the bowler who won the match. The Entrant with the answer closest to the correct answer will be deemed the winner of the tiebreaker. Should the initial tie result in any further ties, Contest questions will be used in reverse order (Question 9, question 8, question 7, etc.) until the tie is broken. The five (5) second tier finishers will be selected based on the number of questions answered correctly in the Entries after the selection of the first five (5) tier finishers, and in the event of a tie, the answer to the final question will be used as a tiebreaker.
On or about two (2) days after the end of the Entry Period, potential Winners will be notified through the Platform and/or email address submitted at the time of Entry. Contest results and Winners’ names and/or registered usernames may also be posted on the Platform. Sponsor may share potential Winners’ names and contact information with Contest Entities to the extent necessary for the fulfillment of the contest. Potential Winners may be required at any time to provide Sponsor with additional documentation and/or information to verify their identity and provide proof that all eligibility requirements have been met (collectively, “Eligibility Information”). Such Eligibility Information may include, without limitation, Winner’s date of birth, residential address, social security number, and an executed Form W-9. Potential Winners may also be required at any time to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, release of liability, and, except where prohibited, publicity release (collectively, “Contest Documents”). Eligibility Information and Contest Documents must be provided and/or returned and executed upon Sponsor’s request. Noncompliance may result in disqualification from the Contest(s) or forfeiture of Prize(s), at Sponsor’s sole discretion. If a potential Winner cannot be reached within a reasonable time period, is found to be ineligible, cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, or if a Prize (as defined below) or prize notification is unclaimed or returned as undeliverable, including, but not limited to, if the Winner fails to claim their Prize within two (2) years from the date the Prize is awarded, such potential Winner may be disqualified from the Contest(s) and/or have Prize(s) forfeited.
Contest results and Winner determination will be based on the outcome, statistics, gameplay, and/or results of the Game as of the time when final scoring is tabulated by Sponsor. Contest results will not be changed in light of official statistics adjustments made by the PBA (as applicable), though Sponsor reserves the right to make adjustments to Contest results based on errors or irregularities in their calculation of results or in the transmission of information to Sponsor from the PBA or other third parties. The PBA is not responsible or liable for Contest scoring or results, or any decision of Sponsor in connection with such Contest scoring or results, including without limitation, changes to official Game statistics. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, also may make adjustments in the event of an entrant’s noncompliance with these Official Rules. Sponsor has no obligation to delay the awarding of any Prize(s) in anticipation of any adjustment, and Sponsor reserves the right to reverse the awarding of Prize(s) in the event of any adjustment. Entrants agree to be bound by any such adjustments and to cooperate with Sponsor’s reasonable efforts to award Prize(s). Decisions of Sponsor are final and binding with respect to all matters related to the Contest in the Platform.
To the extent that the Platform offers or displays scoring, standings, results, statistics, or other information relating to the Contest, including, but not limited to, the Season Leaderboard on the Platform (“Live Information”), all such Live Information is unofficial and is offered for informational and/or entertainment purposes only.
